Throughout her life, Stephanie Renee Bennett (FCHS Class of 1997) was a devoted and tremendously loyal friend to many. She touched many lives by living in a responsible and caring way, paying attention to detail in whatever challenge confronted her. She always put forth her best effort not only for her own personal accomplishments, but for the benefit of others as well. The recipient of the scholarship should hope to reach the same potential that Stephanie did by doing the best for themselves, their friends and family and the community at large.

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior of Franklin County High School that is planning to attend Roanoke College.

The amount awarded is $7,500.

This scholarship has been awarded since 2003; we have given 15 scholarships totaling $98,500.
